What is the difference between a full and a partial?

While both are customizable, a full is adding lightness throughout the whole head and partial is adding lightness only on hairline the top layer of the head giving a more dimensional result.

What is the difference between a root smudge and a root melt?

Both help blend out any harsh lines and prevents harsh outgrowths and lines of demarcation. Smudging is a light tap at the base to help defuse the transition between the natural color to the highlights while keeping the placement higher. Melting is similar, except, the root is dragged further down for a more gradient, lived in affect.

How often is maintenance?

  • Toner/gloss: between 6 to 8 weeks

  • Single process: root touch up and gray coverage- between 8 to 12 weeks

  • Traditional highlights: between 2 to 3 months. I recommend alternating between a full and a partial.

  • Balayage: between 4 to 6 months. I recommend alternating between a full and a partial.
